We’ll start near Golden Gate Park and visit his subtle, whimsical work outside the De Young Museum. The artificial nature of Golden Gate Park, precariously grafted on to the barren sand of the Outside Lands makes a fitting start to our tour. From the park we cross to the Presidio, a spectacular, wild space that is home to several Goldsworthy works, including Spire, Tree Line, and Earth Wall. We’ll save time to enjoy these thought provoking pieces, and through-out the ride we enjoy stunning views of the Pacific and the Bay. Our ride touches the bay at Crissy Field for a sweeping view of the Golden Gate and a sparkling panoramic from bridge to bridge. Time for the power of pedal-assist e-bikes to take us home, winding our way back to Cole Valley. There will be plenty of photo stops and snack opportunities. We’ll finish up at the charming Ice Cream Bar in Cole Valley.
