In the park I’ll share some history on how a vast, verdant landscape was grafted on to arid mountains of sand – the Outside Lands! We cross the Richmond, with a quick pause to taste what Bon Appetit calls the best croissant in North America! This buttery delight won’t slow your e-bike down! Onward to the Presidio, the oldest part of San Francisco. A quick stop at the Spire and the Overlook then out to the Pacific side to enjoy the sweeping views as we approach the bridge. Our pedal assisted bikes glide us up to the bridge and I’ll share some bridge stories and history. Next we ride to the middle to touch the cables of the most famous bridge in the world! After getting our fill of the amazing views, we head back to the city for a roll along the grand, gorgeous & historic Crissy Field. Next stop is the site of the 1915 World’s Fair and the Palace of Fine Arts. From there we loop back towards home, with a stop at an unusual sculpture or two. We return to Cole Valley and the Haight just in time for a bite or ice-cream at the famous Ice Cream Bar
