Buena Vista Park

Buena Vista Park is a park in the Haight-Ashbury and Buena Vista Heights neighborhoods of San Francisco, California. It is the oldest official park in San Francisco, established in 1867 as Hill Park, later renamed Buena Vista.

Buena Vista Park, located in the center of the city, is named for the spectacular views from its upper slopes. The oldest park in San Francisco, it features secluded, winding trails and one of the city’s few remaining coast live oak groves. Buena Vista’s natural area is on the park’s northern side.

Cole Valley Walk

Join me for a gentle stroll that embraces a slice of life in San Francisco. A walk through the park, some nature and history, we follow Waller st, a block off Haight, a street that has style, including the Four Seasons Victorians and a Julia Morgan church. Waller takes us to Cole Valley, where a charming french bistro, Zazie, will prepare a special dinner for us. From there we walk a few steps to The Ice Cream Bar for a taste of their signature sodas.
